Comcast RISE stands for Representation, Investment, Strength and Empowerment. Comcast RISE was created in 2020 to help small businesses hardest hit by COVID-19 recover and thrive. We’re pleased to bring Comcast RISE back in 2023, and we’re proud to continue our efforts to help an even broader range of small businesses, while continuing to focus on diversity, inclusion, and community investment.
 
Comcast RISE is supporting the growth of all small businesses committed to uplifting their local communities. The program is built to help businesses and their communities thrive with a focus on economic growth. This year, Comcast RISE will award 500 recipients in five cities with a grant package that includes business consultation services, educational resources, monetary grant, creative production, media schedule, and a technology makeover.

From June 1-30, 2023, eligible small businesses in Baltimore (City of Baltimore), Detroit (Macomb County, Oakland County, Wayne County, Washtenaw County), Memphis (Shelby County), Philadelphia (Philadelphia County), and Portland, OR (Multnomah County) can apply for the Comcast RISE program.

 
The Comcast RISE application is composed of two parts:
 
  1. Eligibility Criteria Form (Duration: 5 minutes): This form determines your eligibility to complete the application. 
    Once your eligibility criteria form is submitted, it cannot be changed. If you are deemed ineligible, you will not be able to move forward with the application process.
  2. Application (Duration: 45-60 minutes, depending on documentation readiness - check FAQs for more info): 
    If you are deemed eligible after submitting the Eligibility Criteria Form, you can start the application in the same form; You can Save your application without submitting and Submit at a later date. Once Submitted, the application cannot be changed.

To begin the application, you must first create an account. Please click 'Sign In' at the top right corner of this page to begin the process. You will not be able to start the application until you register and receive an email confirmation.
 
If you have already created an account: 
Scroll down to the bottom of this page and select “Comcast RISE Application” to continue filling out the application.
